Mamakrom focuses on the topics of education and change, exploring the link between the two while offering a realistic glimpse into the lives of children and adults in Ghana, Africa, though it is truly a global story. Mamakrom itself is a village in Ghana that has undergone a massive transformation over the past ten years. We explore the story behind it by following the people involved in bringing about this change. Too often we view positive change in countries like Ghana as a far away ideal, nearly impossible to reach. This film speaks to the fact that no matter who you are, if you are willing to take small steps into action, great things can come about.
